The minutes from the last CCUG Steering Committee meeting will be published here shortly.
Steering Group News
The C-CURE User Group EMEA is currently the ONLY collective Group that are contributing to the developments of the product. This is really a wonderful achievement and one that all members should be extremely proud to be participants and contributors of. Well Done.
As more of you are starting to post questions on the forum we have started to correlate these threads so we can make sure that all relevant points find their way to Software House – keep them coming.
We are looking always for places to make potential new members aware of this User Group – do you know of any we could use? Currently we have circ. 90 members, but there must be more out there – can you help us reach out to make them aware of this group?
The committee challenged why new versions of software are released in the US but not here in EMEA until much later. This may cause an issue for end-users with installations in both the US and EMEA. Have you experienced any problems caused by this delay or have any comment to make concerning it?
Some of the comments from attendees of the first experience day were “Good day – one of the best”; “Frank honest and good”; “Extremely valuable” and so on. The committee is looking at a second open experience day so watch out for news once this has been finalised.
The next committee meeting has on the agenda a discussion on the Software Support Agreement (SSA). Do you have an opinion or view you’d like to ensure is expressed? If so please post it on the forum or ensure it is sent to the Chair jim.lucas@debeersgroup.co.uk
If you would like items specifically discussed at the next committee meeting then do please contact the Chair at jim.lucas@debeersgroup.co.uk
The Partner Program levels and requirements can now be found on our web site. Check it out at http://www.ccureusergroup.com/
As you may know by now, we welcome our relationship with the Integrators Forum. Sadly it looks like at this time that the integrators do not wish to participate in an integrators forum. Watch this space.
Do you have a need for visitors’ software – are you aware of the Passage Point offering? Brian Stemp gave a presentation on Passage Point Global v.10. Out of this presentation Brian will take back that the EMEA Group request that Prox cards be included within this product (which is currently just Barcode).
Do you have any experience of bio-metrics use with CCURE? If so the committee would be very interested in hearing from you. A bio-metrics thread or post on the forum would be most appreciated by many members.
What do you think of this web, and the way via the Forum that you can communicate with this group ?
Much work has been done on the web and trying to communicate with you, but we need to know your thoughts on this – do let us know, either via the Forum or by contacting the Chairman (jim.lucas@debeersgroup.co.uk).
